How we measure

The network we follow

We follow 433 ferry routes in France, the United Kingdom, Spain and Denmark, from the official timetables of 71 operators. They call at 285 ports. Over the next 7 days the timetables list 25,572 sailings on them.

65 of these routes are international. The operators with the most routes are CalMac Ferries (68), Corsica Ferries (48) and Orkney Ferries (28).

In the last 30 days we received AIS positions from 1,863 ships in the sea areas we cover. We know the operator of 117 of them, and 115 were linked to timetabled sailings.
